District 7 or as we call it Erzsébetváros is also among those districts combination of which creates downtown of Budapest. This district also begins from the very center of the city, bordering with 5th district at the beginning. Its other neighbouring districts are district 6, 8, and 14. We divide it into 3 parts, like most central districts in the city: inner part (belső Erzsébetváros), middle part (középső Erzsébetváros) and outer part (külső Erzsébetváros).

Inner part (belső Erzsébetváros) is the one that borders with 5th district and ends at Nagy körút (main boulevard), where also passes trams 4-6. This part of the district basically part of the downtown and the most popular part of the district. Specifically in this part can be found popular spots and places such as “Party district” with its famous bars and ruin pubs like Gozsdu udvar and Simpla kert among many other similar places. In this part also can be found Synagogue, Jewish quarter etc. Public transport is the most advanced and convenient in this part. There are different metro lines M1, M2, M3, tams 47-79 and 4-6, several different bus lines.

Middle part of the district starts from the “Great boulevard”, also specifically here located famous New Your café of Budapest. This part is a bit less developed, less taken care by local municipality. But it is still very easy to get to and from there to any part of the city with its convenient public transportation. Here many parks and playgrounds, small squares and some very historic and atmospheric streets.

The last part is outer part that ends at the border of 14th district. It has some good areas located next to the City park. Other than that, it is the least developed and cared part of the district. Despite that, there is still very convenient public transportation with several different bus lines and metro line M2.

For example at the end of this part can be found Eastern Railway station (Keleti pályaudvar).

Of course the most attractive part of the district is the inner part, if we consider it from real estate investment perspective as it is very well familiar to foreigners and tourists and it will always attract foreigners and tourists because of its famous pubs, bars and attractions. But there are several very attractive streets also in outer part like Damjanich street, Városligeti fasor and few more. These areas located next to City park and surrounded by some other great areas of 6th and 14th district.
