Previous months fast growing rental fees slowed down significantly in august of 2022: compared to July, rental fees grew 1,5% countrywide and 1,3% in Budapest, which is the least monthly growth in entire 2022- was said in KSH- ingatlan.com’s latest rental market report. Let’s see how much is rental fee in different cities of Hungary.
Further slowed down the price increase for rental apartments in August: compared to July, prices of rental fees increased in Budapest by 1,3% and countrywide by 1,5%. Last year in the same period price increase was 23% countrywide, and 25% in Budapest.
Average price of rent in Hungary
Based on market research from ingatlan.com, we can see how much were rental fees in the end of September 2022 in Budapest and in some other Hungarian cities. In budapest average rental fee was 200.000 Ft/month. The three most expensive districts in Budapest were 5th, 2nd and 12th districts, where rental fees vary between 240-280.000 Ft/month in average. The least expensive districts in terms of rental fee were 10th, 15th, 18th, 19th and 21st districts, where average rental fee was 150.000 Ft/month.
Among some other major Hungarian cities, the most expensive was also Veszprém, where average rental fee is 150.000 Ft/month. After comes Debrecen, where rental price was 145.000 Ft/month, Tatabánya and Győr where rental price was 135.000 Ft/month. In Szeged it was 130.000 Ft/month and in Miskolc 100.000/month.
